I have spent the majority of my life in Sussex, a region that continues to shape and inspire my artistic practice. My introduction to the world of art came at an early age, guided by my father’s encouragement. I began developing my portfolio in 1995 and have remained dedicated to the pursuit of creative expression ever since.
Although I did not undertake formal academic study in art, my commitment to the discipline has been unwavering. I am continually drawn to experimentation, working across a diverse range of media and subject matter. Each new challenge presents an opportunity to refine my technique and expand my perspective.
Over the years, I have received numerous commissions, particularly for pet portraits and deeply personal works that reconstruct images of loved ones or companions who have passed. These projects often involve creating visual representations of moments that never existed – offering comfort, memory, and connection through imaginative interpretation. I have also contributed to several prestigious public art initiatives organized by Wild in Art:
- Follow That Duck, Hastings
- Morph’s Epic Adventures, London
- Elmer’s Big Parade, Blackpool
- Waddle on Sea, Southend
These projects have allowed me to engage broad audiences and explore large-scale, collaborative art-making.
My studio, located within my home in Hastings, serves as both a sanctuary and a space for ongoing exploration. It is here that I continue to evolve as an artist—engaging with new ideas, embracing innovation, and deepening my connection to the craft.
